It’s been several weeks since I’ve had a chance to stamp, and all my new products have been whispering my name.  I finally had a couple of days to myself, and I have made good use of them–stamping, of course.  The images on this card are from Best Thoughts, one of the new hostess sets. This stamp alone is a good reason to host a party, as only hostesses can order this set. I also used the splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge on the background in Mint Macron. I did stamp off once so that it would be lighter.

Not only is this flower beautiful, it is fun to color. I stamped the image on Whisper White cardstock and used my Blendabilities to color it. I used a blender pen to watercolor the butterfly and then cut it out and attached it to the card with Mini Glue Dots.

The greeting on the inside is also from Best Thoughts. The flowers are from Nature’s Perfection, a Sale-A-Bration set. I know that I say it frequently, but one of the best things about Stampin’ Up! products is the way they coordinate so well with all the other products.
