Are you a dog lover? If so, you probably have fond memories of your first puppy. My granddaughter has wanted a dog of her own for some time now, and she finally wore her parents down. Parents were in for a surprise, though. When they went to the animal shelter, the one she chose was in a cage with his brother. Being soft-hearted, they couldn’t separate the two and took both dogs. It was probably a wise choice, as AJ’s little brother will now have a dog of his own to grow up with as well.

To celebrate the occasion, I made AJ a card, of course! Although I’m a true blue Stampin’ Up! crafter, I needed a certain type of dog stamp. I finally found one online that would work. I pulled out some cardstock that I bought when AJ was tiny for the background, as it met all my criteria: slightly girlie, spring themed, and small images. She should have received her card today; I can’t wait to find out what she thought of it.

A paper puppy is only a pale imitation of the real thing, though. As you can see from this last photo, they are all on their way to being best buds.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit. If you have a chance, give a puppy a hug. Be ready to be rewarded with a sloppy kiss, though.
