Are you one of the Easter Bunny’s helpers? If so, these cute little milk cartons are a fun way to make friends smile and satisfy their hunger for chocolate. As I’m typing this post, though, I’m pondering the fact that Easter seems a holiday filled with strange contradictions: a high, holy day where a big bunny leaves candy eggs for children in random packages like baskets and milk cartons…

Contradictions aside, these little cartons go together quickly and turn a handful of chocolate eggs into a pretty gift. I can’t take credit for the design; I took the idea from Sam Hammond Donald’s (aka Pootles) blog. She has become my go-to source for all things 3D. Not only are her projects cute, she gives clear directions and dimensions that make it easy to recreate her projects. Be sure to check out Pootles’ video, as she has a great way to make sure all the holes are punched evenly. I did tweak the embellishments, though, as I wanted to use my new Petite Petals stamps and punch. I colored the flowers with markers before I punched them out and then added a tiny pearl to the center of each one after adhering it to the carton with a mini glue dot.
I don’t own the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (shock, I know), so I typed Happy Easter in a Word document and fiddled around with the font size until it fit in the Word Window Punch. Printing out three columns of Happy Easter on a sheet of Whisper White cardstock was also a fast way to produce 25 sentiments. Yes, I produced 25 of these little cartons last weekend. That fact alone should convince you how easy they are to make!

Whether you plan to give treats to a few or many friends, give these little cartons a try. They turn out looking very professional and are ever so much sweeter than the ones for sale at the big box stores. Have a great day and thanks for spending a few minutes with me today!
