I’ve returned to to blogosphere after a ten-month absence! I retired recently from the regional education service center where I supported secondary English teachers in reading and writing instruction. I’ve spent the last month finding some inner peace and trying to clean four years of clutter and dust from my house. I have found time to organize my craft room and place several significant Stampin Up! orders, though.

I created this card for a dear friend’s birthday. She is a sister of my heart, and we have spent many hours working together as colleagues and supporting each other through happy times and tough challenges. Notice that I used a blender pen and Tangerine Tango ink to color in the teapot and highlight the banner. I also stamped the image twice and cut out the banner to pop it up with mini-glue dots.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by!
