Preschoolers Leading Chapel

Before I retired, I wondered what I would do to fill all those endless days without the routine of going to work, bringing work home, and feeling guilty for not working on work over the weekend. Who would I be if I weren’t a teacher?
Fast forward five years and now I wonder how I managed to have time to have a job!

One of the greatest joys of retirement has been having the time to enjoy my grandkids that I didn’t have when I was working. As a secondary teacher, I rarely found a way to attend programs and parties during school hours. Now, however, I am able to be there for those moments so important to young scholars. Seeing my grandson’s face light up last week when he found me sitting in the “parent seats” when his class led chapel was (as the MasterCard commercial put it) priceless.
