Picture me expressing my joy (although less gracefully than the woman in the card) because the temperature here has climbed to 38 as of 1:00pm, a welcome respite after a low this morning of 11. Yesterday’s high was 28, but that was just after midnight and then the temperature began to fall! I am SO thankful for heated car seats and a tightly built house to live in! I realize that this is moderate winter weather in some parts of the country, but not here in West Texas. You Northerners will chuckle to hear that all our schools had a two hour delay for fear of icy roads that didn’t appear (thankfully).

Enough whining about the weather! My inspiration for this card was Freshly Made Sketches 320. (Click on the image below to travel over to their website and see what others have done with the sketch.)  I appreciate being given some parameters to work with when I’m designing a card rather than just CASEing one. I spent most of my morning going through stamp sets, playing with color combinations, etc. Best part? Being home alone with no one to distract me while I played.

All the supplies are Stampin’ Up! products. I’ve provided links to each product mentioned and would love it if you placed an order online with me. The stamped images are from the Beautiful You stamp set. The cardstock is Tranquil Tide, from the 2017-19 InColor collection, and the striped paper is from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP. The silver metallic ribbon is unfortunately a discontinued SU product. However, some Silver Mini Sequin Trim would work well on the card, also.

Thanks for stopping by today; try to stay warm and safe wherever you are!
