Today’s card is the one that I created for Di’s Country INKers card challenge for February. It’s fun to get some cardstock and embellishment in the mail and make a card. Best part, though, is seeing what others create when we all upload them to our Facebook group!

This months “guts” were a white card base, Berry Burst cardstock, Lemon Lime Twist CS embossed with the new basket folder (free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration), and a strip of Berry Burst 3/8″ ribbon with silver metallic edges.

I chose to emphasize the Berry Burst CS because a little Lemon Lime Twist goes a LONG way in my book! The silver edges on the ribbon inspired me to cut out the stem of leaves from silver foil paper and use a silver foil mat under the sentiment.

When I first opened the envelope, I thought—gosh no! However, I really like how it turned out. My son’s first grade teacher pointed out that he did best when he had a challenge. Guess he is his mother’s son!  Try challenging yourself today and see what happens!

Thanks for stopping by.
